Jobs in PERA Department – Prosecutor (Legal & Prosecution)- Apply Now. The Prosecutor at PERA will be responsible for managing and overseeing legal investigations and prosecutions related to enforcement matters. The role involves evaluating evidence, preparing legal documents, representing the state in court, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Evaluate legal issues and evidence to determine appropriate charges.
✔ Prepare and file legal documents (indictments, charging documents, etc.).
✔ Represent PERA in criminal trials, pre-trial hearings, and post-conviction proceedings.
✔ Present evidence, examine witnesses, and argue cases in court.
✔ Collaborate with law enforcement to ensure the proper collection of evidence.
✔ Maintain case records, prepare reports, and submit para-wise comments.
✔ Perform additional duties as assigned by the Competent Authority.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.

5 years of experience as a practicing advocate.
Required Skills & Competencies:
-
Expertise in Civil & Criminal Law and legal procedures.
-
Strong case management, legal research, and trial preparation skills.
-
Excellent oral & written communication for persuasive legal arguments.
-
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
-
Strong interpersonal skills to work with law enforcement, witnesses, and colleagues.
-
Knowledge of PERA’s scheduled laws.
-
Proficiency in MS Office and report writing.
Age Limit: 22 – 70 years
Gender: Male & Female
Minimum Education Division: Second (45% and above)
Salary & Benefits

Pay Scale: SPPP-5 (as per Punjab Government Schedule-III)
